Master Electrician

Steve Arne is an experienced electrician and certified technical educator who has been teaching electricians in SD full time since 1984. Mr. Arne has a Bachelors Degree in Technical Education from Dakota State University and a Masters Degree from USD. Mr. Arne is licensed as an Electrical Contractor and as an Electrical Inspector in SD and carries a Rapid City Master Electrician's License.

Mr. Arne provides Electrician's Exam Preparation classes and Electrical Code seminars in South Dakota and Wyoming under the business name of Arne Electro-Tech.

Mr. Arne is also employed as the Technical Editorial Director for Mike Holt Enterprises, Inc. editing the quality electrical training materials that are available in the Electrical Bookstore of this site.

Mr. Arne currently is a board member of the Black Hills Chapter of the South Dakota Electrical Council

May 9, 2003 marked the completion of 19 years of employment at Western Dakota Tech for Steve Arne.

Here Dr. Gross, the Director of WDTI is presenting Steve with a plaque for 19 years of service. Steve taught electricians in the Industrial Electronics program and served as department head for the electronics department.

Steve is now working as the Technical Editorial Director of Mike Holt Enterprises and providing electrical training seminars on the National Electrical Code.
